About the Role:
We are looking for a Game Designer II (System) to design and develop engaging gameplay systems for our upcoming projects.
The role involves working on game mechanics, player progression, rewards, economies, balancing, and other gameplay systems from concept through implementation and iteration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop gameplay systems, mechanics, and features.
- Design progression, rewards, economies, and other interconnected systems.
- Create GDDs, feature specifications, flowcharts, and design documentation.
- Prototype and iterate on systems based on playtesting, feedback, and data.
- Work closely with programmers to implement and refine gameplay systems.
- Collaborate with Art, Animation, UI/UX, QA, and other teams.
- Balance gameplay mechanics, progression, rewards, and difficulty.
- Analyze player feedback, gameplay data, and testing results.
- Take ownership of features from concept through implementation and iteration.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of professional experience in Game Design.
- Strong hands-on experience in System Design.
- Good understanding of gameplay mechanics, progression, rewards, economies, and balancing.
- Experience taking gameplay systems from concept to production.
- Strong game design documentation skills.
- Unreal Engine experience is preferred.
- Experience with Unreal Engine Blueprints is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work closely with programmers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong passion for games and understanding of different game genres.
Good to Have:
- AAA / PC / Console / Mobile game experience.
- Strong hands-on Unreal Engine and Blueprint experience.
- Game analytics and player behavior analysis experience.
- Live game development experience.
- Multiplayer/online gameplay systems experience.
- Sports game or other system-heavy genre experience.
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools.
