The Role:

As a Senior Build & Release Engineer at LightFury, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the build and release processes for our AAA games. You will work closely with the development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient build pipelines, enabling rapid iteration and high-quality releases.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust build and release pipelines for our AAA games.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and optimizations into the build process.
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build and release issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for build and release processes and tools.
• Monitor and optimize build performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of game updates.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in build and release engineering.

Build & Release Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of build systems and tools, such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Perforce.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in build and release engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with game development pipelines and tools.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
