About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven Talent Partner I to join our growing team and play a critical role in building world-class gaming teams. This role combines hands-on recruitment, HR operations, and people processes, with a strong focus on hiring top talent across Product, Design, Art, Engineering, and Game Development functions.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the gaming industry, possess strong stakeholder management skills, and be comfortable managing end-to-end recruitment while supporting core HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring (Primary Focus)
- Own end-to-end recruitment across Product, Design, Art, Engineering, Data, and Game Development functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, team structures, and workforce planning.
- Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, referrals, market mapping, and employer branding initiatives.
- Conduct screening calls and assess candidate fit across technical, cultural, and organizational dimensions.
- Drive interview coordination, feedback management, offer negotiations, and candidate experience.
- Track hiring metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Develop hiring strategies for niche gaming talent and hard-to-fill roles.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Work closely with Product Managers, Game Designers, Artists, Engineers, and Studio Leadership teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring best practices.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and hiring priorities.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Support onboarding and new hire integration.
- Manage HR documentation, employee records, and compliance-related activities.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and people-related processes.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR policies and operational processes.
Process Improvement
- Improve recruitment workflows and hiring efficiencies.
- Maintain ATS and recruitment data accuracy.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives and talent community building.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
- Mandatory experience hiring within the Gaming Industry.
- Proven experience hiring for:
- Product Managers
- Game Designers
- UI/UX Designers
- 2D/3D Artists
- Gameplay Programmers
- Engineers and Technical Roles
- Strong sourcing capabilities and hands-on recruitment expertise.
- Experience managing multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a gaming startup or high-growth product company.
- Understanding of game development pipelines and gaming talent landscape.
- Experience supporting HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
