Role Summary
We are looking for a Finance Manager to own accounting, financial reporting, and compliance while driving business finance and supporting fundraising initiatives. The role will ensure strong financial controls, deliver clear financial insights, and help leadership make data-driven decisions in a fast-growing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Controllership
Working closely with the accounting service providers:
- Own financial accounting, monthly close, group consolidation and audit support.
- Ensure accuracy of GL, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and revenue recognition (IAP, ads, platform payouts)
- Ensure timely statutory and regulatory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, FEMA)
- Cash flow preparation and projection
- Develop and roll out finance SOPs, internal controls
Business Finance & FP&A
- Budgeting, forecasting, and monthly MIS preparation and analysis
- Identify and provide meaningful insights on gaming metrics
- Cost optimization and opex ROI
Fundraising & Strategic Support
- Support fundraising, financial due diligence, and investor data rooms
- Maintain audit and diligence ready books
What We’re Looking For
- CA with 3-4 years PQE
- Strong accounting and reporting fundamentals
- Business oriented mindset
- Strong sense of ownership, comfortable building processes in a startup
- Strong Excel & financial modelling skills
